From May, 16^th, to May 19^th , a total of around 69,000 visitors from 152 countries came to the world’s largest event for furniture manufacturing and interior design.

The Bullmer GmbH was presenting its tailor-made cutting solutions to the international public. The public showed keen interest in the product range  by the company Bullmer and many interesting new contacts have been made.

From May, 8th to  May, 12^th,  2017 we were able to welcome numerous prospective buyers and customers at our booth in Hamburg.

At the leading trade fair for digital large-format / text-to-print printing, the Bullmer GmbH. showed its expertise within the field of cutting. In addition to a cutting system in the super- large format, a specially configured system for printed clothing as well as a multi-function cutter were shown. All the systems were equipped with a multi-array scanner system for reading printed contours.

 

The many interesting discussions concerning the subjects of Industry 4.0, Automation and Large Format Cutting made the trade fair a great success for the Bullmer GmbH.

A total of around 47,500 visitors and 1,789 exhibitors from 114 countries made the Texprocess along with the Techtextil an impressive industry highlight.

Industry 4.0, smart and functional textiles as well as digitization are currently the key issues for the textile industry.

Our company Bullmer GmbH was presenting, among other things, solutions for the realization of industry 4.0on the highly respected trade fair show. A network of cutting, material handling
and software solutions were presented live and via a video wall to the professional audience

 

New products such as robotic automation, the new toolmanager by the company Bullmer and high-level cutter called the Procut D 8001S made the  portfolio of the booth from Bullmer perfect.

The AL-Naseej is the new premium partner of bullmer Ltd. in Saudi Arabia.

As part of its Saudi Arabia travel, Jochen Cramer visited the company AL-Naseej Al-Arabi Co. LTD.

On site, in the renewed exhibition rooms, the  sales manager gave the Premium Partner Award to Abdullah Aleraqi, CEO of AL-Naseej Al-Arabi Co. LTD, who is obviously pleased about this particular appreciation.

With the Premium Partner Award, the bullmer Ltd. honors those partners that are characterized by excellent consulting expertise, high-quality product presentation and excellent service.

 

bullmer Gmbh has been announced as the winner of the category „Industry Excellence in Branding – Machines & Engineering“ by The German Brand Institute.

200 invited guests from economics, politics and media followed the awards ceremony. Product manager Marcus Langner accepted the award at the Drive Volkswagen Forum in Berlin.
The bullmer GmbH convinced the independent jury of brand experts with the cutting system Premiumcut ELC and the excellent performance in brand management.

The German Brand Institute was initiated by the “Rat für Formgebung” and “GMK Markenberatung”. Upon application of the Bundestag the “Rat für Formgebung“ was funded 60 years ago. It represents the international design and trade mark matters in Germany and supports the economy in all questions regarding design and brand.

Under the motto “By far, everything will be possible ” the competence center for spacer textiles presented itself at the Hanover Fair.

During the five days of the joint stand of the Baden-Württemberg International presented itself by convincing the trade visitors of the industry. As a member of the Allianz für Faserbasierte Werkstoffe Baden-Württemberg e.V. (Alliance for fiber-based materials), bullmer gave a huge contribution to innovative product solutions in Hall 2 Research & Technology.

Along with the technical textiles cluster Neckar-Alb, the AFBW wants to have a system supplier that will adapt to new markets.

The switch to renewable energy is expensive. Therefore, as for developments in these areas concerning the prize, pressure is particularly high.

Within the British research center near Nottingham, the Solvay Group operates a unique automation project. The ATTOM project is concerned with the efficient production of turbine blades for tidal power stations from composite materials. Next to AEL Airborne and Gudel, the bullmer representation from the UK  also ranks among the participants of the project

The extraordinary savings that result from mechanized laminating techniques are to be found in the aerospace and the automotive industry which are particularly called to attention.

With its unique features, OptiSCOUT offers individual solutions in the form of macros that support the workflow.

The reading of the cutting contours for example takes place via barcode scanning. Here, the printed material on the machine table will be scanned via a tool head camera. OptiSCOUT then automatically finds the matching file with the cutting contours and register marks and compares the positions of the markers in the plot file to those of the pressure. If the system has analyzed the exact position of printmaking,  the output will start. The sophisticated optical recognition module guarantees perfect accuracy in any size or shape. The result will be precisely cut parts with minimal user intervention.

The OptiSCOUT technology can be applied on most materials in roll and sheet form.

This year, the bullmer GmbH has employed 14 new colleagues.

Two new foreman, two electricians, a rotator and an all- rounder commit themselves strongly in the field of production. In the storage facility, there is a new manager and a new member of our team. The bookkeeping department welcomes two new colleagues. A new sales professional a technical editor and a new IT administrator also started working at bullmer in 2016.

The bullmer GmbH is still looking for professionals in the fields of engineering and CAD software.
